“Enjoy Once in the life time” experience in one of the most exciting rapids in Thailand
Khek River: A medium-size river, Khek River is originated from Petchaboon Mount on the side that is situated in Amphoe Khao Kho. Then the river flows through Thung Salaeng Luang National Park, Phitsanulok, and runs parallel to Highway No.12 (Phitsanulok – Lomsak).
During rainy season (May – October), when this gently clear waterway is replaced with the rapidly dark brown river, it is the best time for rafting down the rapids of Khek River. Although the river is not suitable for swimming, rainy season is a high season among visitors because it is the great time for exciting rafting.

How to get here
By car
Driving from Bangkok takes about 5 hrs. (420 km.)
Driving from Phitsanulok takes about 30-45 min. (46 km.)
By bus
Buses leave from Mochit bus station in Bangkok. It takes about 6-7 hrs. to Phitsanuloke new bus station, transfer to any local buses heading to Nakornhai or Phetchaboon. Get off in front of wanathara resort, just tell the bus driver your destination upon getting on the bus.
By plane or by train
Three airlines fly to Phisanulok everyday from Bangkok throughout the day, train ride is also always pleasant. From the new bus station you can get any local buses heading to Nakornthai or Phetchaboon and get off in front of wanathara resort. Just tell the bus driver your destination upon getting on the bus. You can also take a taxi from the airport or train station to the resort with a cost about 500 baht.
